Ravi Kamat
Founder & Chairman
Ravi Kamat is a technocrat – a post graduate in Microbiology and a PGDM in Production Management – having worked with Johnson & Johnson for 12 years. He founded and has been steering Aero Pharma Group of Companies for the past 30 years. Ravi Kamat’s expertise and passion is Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering and Quality Management. He is also very well conversant with the statutory & legal compliances required for efficient operations of a FMCG unit
Aero Pharma Group is majorly into Manufacturing of FMCG products in the Personal Care, Toiletries, Cosmetics and Pharma space. From just a Pharmaceutical Aerosol Manufacturer, the group has now branched into Skin Care, Color Cosmetics, Hair Care, Toiletries, Pharmaceutical products and in virtually all types of packaging, ranging from bottles, jars, sachets to Aerosol cans etc.
This makes Aero Pharma group unique as no other manufacturer offers the range and complexity of products as Aero Pharma. The Aero Pharma group also offers allied services like Logistics, management services, making it a preferred manufacturer for any new MNC brand that wishes to enter the Indian market.
Aero Pharma Group, with 8 manufacturing locations, is the preferred partner for many International and National Brand Owners like Unilever, Amway, Oriflame, Avon, Godrej, Himalaya, Kaya and many more.
Ravi Kamat is also involved in many associations/societies. He is the immediate Past President and currently GB member of Indian Society of Cosmetic Chemists, Ex Hon Secretary and current GB member of Aerosols Promotion Council of India.
Alok Kamat
Executive Director
Alok Kamat graduated with dual Honors Degree in BSc Computer Science and Management from The University of Nottingham, United Kingdom. Post graduation; he pursued his masters from S.P. Jain Institute of Management – Mumbai, in Family Managed Business (FMB)
Alok started his career in 2001 working with Oriflame in Belgium and in 2004 he joined his Family Business Company – Aero Pharma Pvt. Ltd. At Aero Pharma Group Alok takes care of New Business Development and Group Expansion.
Given a solid base of manufacturing in place, in 2009 Alok Kamat decided to start a new vertical in their portfolio. Alkam Licence Products Pvt. Ltd. was incorporated in 2009 with a clear idea of starting a Licensing & Distribution company catering to India and its sub continents. Alkam is proud to have Mattel Toys as its first licensor in 2009. In 2012 Alkam was able to bag the Disney Licence. Associated with powerful brands like Barbie, Hot Wheels, Fisher Price, Chhota Bheem & Disney, Alkam caters to the age group of 0 – 12 years.
Alkam has the licence for distribution and sale under Personal Care category for the above mentioned brands and has the distribution rights for India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Pakistan & Bangladesh. Alkam is looking to join hands with more brands to offer its services through its strong distribution network to them.
